Halloween 2021 Events for Kids in Vancouver, WA

Booville at Vancouver Mall

Booville is returning to Vancouver Mall this year from 12pm-3pm on Saturday, October 30th, 2021. Your kiddos will have a ghastly good time at this free, indoor event presented by the Parks Foundation of Clark County.

In addition to trick-or-treating, there will be mini pumpkin decorating kits, costume parades, books, and story time. Your little devils—oops, we meant ‘little angels’—will also see some of their favorite characters, including Lightning McQueen and Ghostbusters.

Trunk-or-Treat 2021 at East Woods Presbyterian Church

Start Halloween 2021 off right at the Trunk-or-Treat event hosted by East Woods Presbyterian Church. Bring your costumed cuties to the church parking lot between 4pm and 6pm for candy, prizes, and more fiendish fun.

East Woods is located at 16210 NE 20th St in Vancouver, WA.

Trunk-or-Treat at East Vancouver Community Church

If you time it right, you can go right from one trunk-or-treat to another! This one’s located in the East Vancouver Community Church parking lot and runs from 5:30pm-7:30pm on Halloween.

Bring your kids for some ghoulish fun including photo ops, candy, games, hot cocoa, and popcorn.

Hazel Dell Trick-or-Treat Festival

First up on our list of family Halloween fun is the Hazel Dell Trick-or-Treat Festival, sponsored by Potter’s House Hazel Dell.

This frightening (and free!) event will be held at the Quality Inn in Vancouver, from 6pm-7:30pm on Saturday, October 30th, 2021.

Highlights include candy, nachos, live music, games, and a raffle drawing for the best costume.

Halloween Display on Franklin Street

If you haven’t seen the Franklin Street Halloween display, then you need to immediately drop everything, load your ghoulish gang in the car, and head over there, stat!

Seriously, though, this display is so epic, it’s received national attention! The decorations span 4 properties and include music, animatronics, lights, and other amazing special effects.

Your family can enjoy the drive-by experience between 6pm and 9pm now through Saturday, October 30th, and trick-or-treating from 5pm to 9pm on Halloween. Check out the Holidays on Franklin Street Facebook page for more info.

Halloween Crafting at the Vancouver Art Space

If your brood is the crafty type, then you’ll love making this witch hat centerpiece!

The event takes place on Friday, October 29th, from 1pm to 3pm and is for ages 15 and up. You will be provided with all of the materials you need to make a scary-cute centerpiece.

Halloween Costume Party at Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie

The Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie is having a costume party on Friday, October 29th, and the whole family’s invited!

The festivities will be held in their shop on Main Street in Vancouver, WA between 4pm and 8pm. Highlights include a scavenger hunt, treats, drinks, and prizes.

Halloween Party & Spooky Trivia Night at Dandelion’s

Dandelion Teahouse and Apothecary will be hosting its very first Halloween party this year!

The fun starts at 7pm on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 and lasts until 9pm. There will be prizes for trivia and the costume contest, as well as Halloween-themed teas and snacks.

Tickets are $10-$20 and include treats and participation in the trivia event, in addition to admission. A portion of the proceeds will go to the YWCA Clark County Safechoice Domestic Violence Program.

Get ready for some amazing costumes and scary good (or just scary?) singing at Donnell’s on Saturday, October 30th, 2021. Karaoke starts at 8pm, and they’ll have food and drink specials all night, as well as prizes for the most creative costumes.

Before Halloween Bash at Garage Bar and Grille

If live music gets you howling, then check out the Garage Bar and Grille on Saturday, October 30th, 2021.

Make sure you’re dressed to kill, because not only is K X KANO performing, he’s personally giving away a $50 bar tab for best costume.

Garage Bar and Grille is located at 1101 W Fourth Plain Blvd in Vancouver, WA; the party starts at 8pm.

Seance with Sasha Mereu at Thirsty Sasquatch

Get in on the supernatural fun (if you dare!) at Thirsty Sasquatch on Saturday, October 30th, from 11pm-2am.

Thrills and chills will abound as Sasha Mereu holds a seance and Saylor Martines provides tarot readings.
