Kids’ casserole is a creamy, cheesy delight that is easy to make, easy to customize, and (most importantly) easy on the braces. This yummy comfort classic preps in under 20 and is ready to serve hot from the oven in less than an hour.
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 an onion
- 1 pkg. tator tots or crowns
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom or Chicken soup
- 2 – 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 F. Brown the meat with the onion, salt and pepper. Spread in bottom of casserole dish. Top with tater tots and pour soup over the top. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on the top. Bake uncovered for 35 – 45 minutes.
